On wednesday in pouring rain and wet underground conditions, the SBOC night league got underway in Clyne Valley. A hardy bunch took the conditions in their stride and in the end saw a close competition on both courses. On the long course only 5 minutes separated the first four runners, with current club champion Iestyn Evans coming out on top in a time of 51.12, 89 seconds ahead of Peter O'Kane, with Steve Jones and Kerina Lake battling out for third spot, with Steve edging this round by under 2 minutes. On the short course, the two brothers, William and Freddie Lake continued their head to head competition,with William taking first place in a time of 16:51, Freddie second in 18:40 and Megan Symons in third with a time of 27:42.
