Hardy members took part in a wet and muddy Clyne Valley as the second event of the Night League was held. The slippery conditions and steep slopes meant times were slow for the majority of runners as they were tested by the courses planned by Margaret Reynolds. The club's two British Squad runners, however, made light of the wet and dark to complete the 4km courses in around 30 minutes. Ben Mitchell was first in a time of 26.32mins, Megan Carter-Davies was 2nd in 30.16 and Chris Hiatt finishing in 3rd place in 45.25. On the junior course Freddie Lake whizzed round in an impressive time of 20.52. Well done to all those that completed the courses in such unpleasant weather, but in spite of this, all seemed to enjoy the challenge and had big grins as they crossed the finish line.
