Fast and furious racing at Oxwich Burrows was the name of the game for the 6th Summer League Event of the season, with the technical nature of the area meaning that time was quickly lost if navigation wasn't spot on. With a good attendance, it was GB squad athletes Ben Mitchell and Megan Carter Davies that continued to show how it is done, and great to see Megan in fine form before flying off to the Czech Republic this weekend for next week's World Championships (we wish her all the very best of luck). The next places were all hotly contested with Sam Mitchell, the Lake brothers and William Arnold all pushing each other hard, with Sam Mitchell taking third place. Full results here. Diana McClure provided an upset on the Light Green Course pushing Katie Lake into second place bringing to an end her 100% run as the winner of the events so far. On the Orange Course, Robin Irwin however, managed what Katie couldn't, and maintained his 100% record with a convincing run, completing the course in 24.19 minutes.

Next week there is a complete contrast in terrain with Summer League 7 taking to the woods of Penllergaer details.
