In blustery and showery weather the 2018-19 Winter League kicked off with an excellent event at Kenfig Burrows. The technical area posed many challenges and the planner Siobhan Lock kept competitors guessing all the way to the end of the 4.3km course. The top 3 places were occupied by the top club runners of Ben Mitchell in 27.16 mins, Oscar Healy in 35.06 and then Patrick Jones in 44.11km. It was great to see newcomers on the yellow and orange courses and we hope to see you again..On the Light Green course it was a welcome return to Peter Lake after his accident over the summer. Full results are here. The next Winter League is at Penmaen/Nicholaston Burrows on the Gower on Sunday December 16th.
