A full entry of 30 competitors took part in the first of this years Winter Leagues. With a range of courses on offer, from simpler junior courses throgh to a challenging 7km course on a map without paths, the sun shone and runners enjoyed blue skies and a welcome chance to get out and dust off the running and navigating cobwebs. The area allowed for fast running but the complex path network and vague contour aspects meant that unless using full concentration, mistakes could easily be made. Full results are here. The course winners were:
- Yellow course - Dougie Innes-Farr,
- Orange course - Diana McClure,
- Long Orange course - Peter O'Kane,
- Green course - Roger Stein
- Blue and Blue Ultimate course - Ben Mitchell.
Ben's time was particularly impressive coverng the 6.8km Blue Ultimate course in 39.03 mins. Thanks to you all for coming along and ejoying the run out. Next Winter League is at Port Eynon on 20th November.
