Routegadget Instructions

Follow the instructions below to enable the creation of the Routegadget files for the event..

3 files are required for Routegadget:

1. Purple Pen course file
2. OCAD base map file
3. Sportident App XML results file

Send all files to philipjenkins74@outlook.com

Purple Pen Course file:

• Please send the .ppen file you created using Purple Pen.

OCAD base map file:

• Please send the .ocd base map used to create the courses in Purple Pen.

Sportident App XML Results File:

• Open the Results tab for your event
• Click on the red circle with the 3 dashes as a menu and then click on the export option.
• This opens a page called Manage event, sub header results.
• Select the following option. Export XML (IOF XML 3.0).
• A pop up window shows the name of the file that will be exported. Confirm this if it is correct. It will be downloaded to the Download folder on the Tablet.
• Then use the gmail on the tablet to send it as an attachment to Phil Jenkins (see above).
