Following a great year of individual performances and general contribution to Orienteering in Wales, Freddie Lake was a deserving recipient of the Welsh Orienteer of the year for 2024.
With a Gold Medal in the British Middle Distance Championships in Yorkshire, Gold Medal in the British Championships U18 relay, Silver medal at the JK relays, the M18L winner of the Welsh ^ days and selected for The Great Britain Talent squad he had a tremendously successful year. Just rewards for all his hard work and training.
Freddie also planned his first event at the 2024 Welsh League on Ogof Fynnon Ddu.
A great set of achievements and a welcome contribution to the club and Welsh Orienteering. Da Iawn.
