There were some excellent results at this years Middle Distance Champs which were held at Brown Clee in the Shropshire Hills in May. Many members of the club headed to the event to take on the challenge this complex area offers. With it’s mixture of woodland, scattered trees, open fell and old mine workings – which on occasion made compasses go a little off course it was a great to see plenty of top ten results.
Winning the gold in the M20 Elite class was Freddie Lake, with Megan Mitchell & Kerina Lake taking home Silver in the W21 Elite and W35L competitions respectively.
