At a busy and challenging weekend in Yorkshire, the club has three new British Champions. Freddie Lake took individual gold in the M18Elite to follow his recent gold in the British Relays. There was also an amazing double gold for the club in the Men’s and Women’s Elite with Ben Mitchell and Megan Carter-Davies winning both their courses. Margaret Reynolds claimed a 3rd place in the W60 course just missing out on 2nd by 2 seconds. Great results too from Bethan and Robin Irwin, Vince Nagy-Kovacs, William and Kerina Lake who all claimed top 10 places.
Then the Sunday took us to Kilnsey for the Northern Championships and a very different challenge. Best runs of the day came from Bethan and Robin Irwin, who each finished 5th in W45 and M16 respectively.
All in all a tremendous weekend and so good to have such successes.
