As the sun shone at last, over 40 members took part in our annual Xmas Festive event, this time held on Crymlyn Burrows. Adorned with Xmas fancy dress the runners grappled with the vague contours and complex path network.

Great fun was had by all and some close competitions. Megan Mitchell won the Green course ahead of William Reynolds and Freddie Lake. Emily Peltor won the light green with Diana McClure and Anthony Payne in 2nd and 3rd respectively. On the Orange Course it was a clean sweep for the Beaman-Tucker family with Mara finishing ahead of brothers Feldon and Pascoe. Well done to all that completed the courses. Full results Here.

Then it was off to the Towers Hotel for Christmas lunch and the prizegiving for the 2024 Club Championships and Summer League. Again a good turnout with over 30 attendees enjoying an excellent carvery and good banter.

The Club Champions were as follows.

Senior Men: 1st Ben Mitchell, 2nd Niall Reynolds and 3rd Gary Waters

Senior Women: 1st Margaret Reynolds, 2nd Kerina Lake and 3rd Kate O ‘Sullivan

Junior Men: 1st Sam Payne, 2nd Robin Irwin and 3rd Feldon Beaman-Tucker
